Dr. Burger has two practices, one located at the Pietermaritzburg Eye Hospital and one located in Howick, at the Oatlands medical centre, which accommodates patients from the KZN midlands.
Opening times for the practice are as follows:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
The first elective patient is seen at 08:00 and the last patient is seen at 16:00. Emergency eye conditions are seen to on the same day, as soon as possible.
Howick patients are seen on alternative Friday mornings or on alternative Thursday afternoons. Please always confirm and specify the time and place of your appointment.
Eye surgery is performed at the Pietermaritzburg Eye Hospital, and special travel arrangements can be arranged for Howick patients.
The practice and theatre facilities are well equipped with state of the art technology, including microscopes, lasers, scans and other medical equipment, all of which are integral in providing a world class eye service.
